Daniel was born in 1951 in Glasgow and went on to study at the city's School of Art and at Glasgow College of Building and Printing. After studying, he worked as an artist and lithographer within the printing industry. In 1995 however, he established his own studio and now exhibits in many galleries throughout the UK. His work has become highly sought after and many images have gone into print editions. It is his use of large, bright coloured areas and the layers of texture that continue to draw admirers to his beautiful works.
